Animal Husbandry

Animal Husbandry is related to livestock production, preservation, protection (from disease) and improvement of stocks and dairy development. Animal Husbandry plays a vital role in national economy and in socio-economic development of the rural mass in particular and the state and country as a whole. It plays a significant role in supplementing family incomes and generating gainful employment in the rural sector, particularly among the landless labourers, small and marginal farmers and women, besides providing cheap nutritional food to millions of people.
